This was supposed to be a long overdue relaxing vacation, but it turned into a nightmare. We had to change our travel plans, adding hours of drive time. She was embarrassed when we were out in public. When we informed the front desk about the ants and some other unidentified insect (fortunately not bed bugs) they said, "it's just ants." Not only did they crawl on us and everything, they bit us as well. The hotel was dirty, the room had a disinfectant smell to it, and we woke up to ants crawling all over the walls, all over our suitcases, on us, and even inside our daily pool containers. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel / motel. I have traveled for business and vacations since the1970's.
